For a reduced fee of £30, the SSA offers concessionary membership to current or former members who have retired, are unwaged, or are former SSA student associates who have ended their academic studies in the past five years. Concessionary membership offers all benefits and rights attached to standard membership.

To apply for membership, please complete and submit the following form. We will write to confirm your application has been formally accepted (usually within a few days).

Please note:

• Acceptance as a member of the Society for the Study of Addiction is not a professional endorsement or validation, and we do not give permission to cite SSA membership on personal profiles for this purpose.
• It is a condition of membership that we record each member’s home address.
• Applications made and accepted now will expire on 31 December 2024.
