Dr Tim Meynen

Tim Meynen is a consultant clinical psychologist who works in addiction services in the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and is a clinical tutor on the doctorate in clinical psychology course at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience. He has co-authored a book on CBT in addictions and is currently involved in a number of research projects exploring cognitive perspectives of substance misuse. He is particularly interested in the role or imagery and memory in maintaining substance misuse. Other interests include developing treatments for those with coexisting substance misuse and PTSD.
