We are delighted to announce that our Society Lecture in 2023 – ‘ADHD and addiction: epidemiology, genetics, neurobiology, prevention and treatment’ – will be given by Professor Dr Wim van den Brink of Amsterdam University Medical Centers.

Now in its fifteenth year, the SSA’s PhD Symposium brings together PhD students studying addiction-related topics so they can network, present their work in a low-key, supportive environment, and share their experiences – positive and negative. The day will include presentations from students at all stages of their PhD, as well as people who have recently submitted their thesis. Click here for the latest information on the upcoming event.
